In 1995, we began modestly – selling electrical materials. The Beginnings of Zenex, based in Jarocin
The company's beginnings date back to the mid-1990s, when its founder, Zenon Krawczyk, began trading in electrical materials and manufacturing LV utility power supply cabinets. The construction of a new headquarters in 2001 was a turning point. This dedicated facility enabled the company to grow. It was then that Zenex began specializing in the construction of electrical switchboards for industrial customers, gradually limiting its retail operations. In 2004, the company delivered its first industrial switchboard to Jerónimo Martins (owner of the Biedronka chain of stores).

Development of the Private Label
New opportunities arose with Poland's accession to the European Union and the rapid expansion of exports. This enabled investments in machinery and the launch of production of its own Zenergy switchboards and ZenMATIC capacitor banks, which have held international quality certificates since 2013. The following years saw dynamic investments: in 2014, production of AlCubar conductors was launched, and a year later, a certificate was obtained for testing switchboards up to 2500A. A presence at the prestigious Hannover Messe trade fair in 2016 strengthened the brand in the international market.
New Directions for the Company
The company is constantly expanding its offerings – since 2020, it has been developing photovoltaics, control electronics, and security systems, and from 2023 - also Zenergia HP heat pumps. In 2024, it introduced new Zenergy MCC cassette switchboards, AlCubar busbars, and small active filters. The latest step, expanding its renewable energy offerings, is the launch of the first test installation of its own energy storage system in 2025.

From a family business employing a few people, we have become a large manufacturer employing over 130 people. Today, we have five production halls, a modern machine park, and an R&D department. We are growing physically and developing technologically, introducing an increasing number of products to our offerings, especially in the field of renewable energy sources.
